Paul Kummer was a Swiss born executive chef and food technologist who spent 30 years developing and operating SwissAm Seasonings and Catering Inc. together with his wife Erika and son Peter who continued the business today.
Paul's early executive chef career was at world refined establishments that spanned across continents from Switzerland and Canada to the U.S.
His depth of expertise was refined in the food technology industry in Switzerland, developing high-quality blends based on natural ingredients, the knowledge upon which SwissAm Seasoning is based today. The culmination of his work achieved an honor as a Kentucky Colonel by the governor and secretary of state for his outstanding work in the development of spice blends and sauces in the state's commercial food industries.
He held a degree in Hospitality Management from Switzerland that led to the founding of his own company, SwissAm Seasonings & Catering Inc. in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Erika Kummer and son Peter have lead in the success of the business from the very beginning. They maintain the high standard of the brand through the continued use of SwissAm Seasonings in the catering business.
